New cases of coronavirus ‘inevitable’

WA Health Minister Roger Cook says it is inevitable there will be new cases of COVID-19 in the community.
That’s despite Western Australia recording no new cases today, and only one positive case in the last 12 days.
There are now seven active cases across the state, with four people in hospital, including one in intensive care.
Mr Cook says people must not become complacent.
“We believe that it will be inevitable that there will be some new cases out there in the community, and in relation to these new cases, we stand ready, we stand prepared to respond.”
